Temporary Changes to KD College Prep Operations and Services
KD College Prep was founded with the mission to help our client families achieve their goals for the future. We know you cannot achieve your goals and we cannot fulfill our mission without good health. It has become clear in these rapidly evolving times that we need to reinforce that message to our students and their families, so that they can one day enjoy an exciting college experience.
Following recommendations from government officials and following our school district partners, all KD College Prep campuses will be temporarily closed to the public through May 3rd to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in our community. Our program has always been about our students’ long term goals, not quick-fixes. With the next available test dates in June, we now have additional time to prepare our students.
We are excited to launch live, online classes so that you can attend the lessons you need. Students in current classes have already received an email with links to sign up for lessons.
If you are interested in learning more about enrolling in our online courses, please contact us.
We are also launching on-demand online learning opportunities. We are fortunate to have a curriculum team that develops our top-notch, proprietary curriculum. Our students will have access to more material and instruction during this time than they would normally have during regular operation. We encourage our students to use this time to get ahead.
Our offices will be closed to the public during this time, but our staff members will continue to be available to respond to e-mail and answer phone calls during the hours listed below.
Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday CLOSED
Online Learning Activities for KD College Prep Students
We are focusing first on materials that students already have in their KD binders so that students can get involved immediately. Since there was usually not time to review lesson homework or the vocabulary workbook in class, we are using this opportunity to thoroughly review these items.
All current students received an email with a link to online learning activities. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Tips for Online Learning Success:
- The homework is at the end of each lesson packet. The material will also be available online.
- Students have a Vocabulary Workbook at the back of the KD binder. The material will also be available online.
- Reread the corresponding lesson before completing the homework.
- Complete the homework material or vocabulary unit before watching the online session.
