In-Person Test Prep

As parents and teachers, we understand that some students thrive on the personal attention they receive when attending in-person test prep classes. This option has always been a part of our services to students located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

In-person test prep classes take place at each of our four locations: Coppell, Flower Mound, Frisco, and Plano.

We know that flexibility is important to busy high school students. This is why we offer evening and weekend classes throughout the school year with even more class options available during the summer.

What in-person test prep programs do you offer?

At KD College Prep, we offer in-person test prep activities through the following programs:

• Complete Program (9th-12th Grade)
• Advanced Start™ Program (7th or 8th Grade)
• One-on-One Tutoring (7th-12th Grade)

What are in-person prep classes like at KD College Prep?

Our highly qualified, expert instructors teach classes to small, socially distanced groups at our campuses.

Through our test prep programs, students start by attending a set of core lessons providing a foundation of content and concepts that mirror those found on the SAT^®, ACT^®, and PSAT/NMSQT^® tests. Students also learn how to effectively improve testing skills using our test-taking strategies. Each lesson is supplemented with homework activities for students to practice what they have learned.

In addition to the lessons, we offer instructor-led workshops that provide continual in-depth practice and mastery of concepts and strategies learned in the classroom.

In-person test prep activities are taught separately from online activities.

What are the benefits of attending test prep classes in a classroom setting?

Some students find it is easiest to stay engaged if they are in a classroom with a teacher and their peers.

Our teachers present not only the content required to solve items on the PSAT, SAT, and ACT tests but also teach our time-tested strategies for these exams.

Many students who perform well in school still struggle with college admissions exams because they differ from most classroom exams. Our teachers project the curriculum onto large televisions to model strategies that improve speed and efficiency on these fast-paced exams.

How do I sign up for in-person prep classes for the SAT, ACT, or PSAT tests?

In-person classes are included as an option in our Complete and Advanced Start test prep programs. You can choose to attend an in-person class option by selecting one from the class schedule when you register.
